Tucson…the sequel.

(Yes…we are still here.)

After nearly 8 weeks, we are finally leaving Tucson tomorrow! Heading to Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, Bryce and then home. Although bummed that we missed the California coast, Sequoia and Napa we are excited to be heading back to family and friends. Lucky for us, Tucson has a lot to offer so here are a few more shots of the places we discovered. Pretty sure we will be back.

Tucson Sculpture Garden and a few more from Tohono Chul:

Tucson Museum of Art and Murals:

Mt. Lemmon

Tucson Botanical Garden

Voyager RV park scenes:

“But there is still too much to see and marvel at, the world very much alive in the bright light and wind, exultant with the fever of spring, the delight of morning. Strolling on, it seems to me that the strangeness and wonder of existence are emphasized here, in the desert by the comparative sparsity of the flora and fauna: life not crowded upon life as in other places, but scattered abroad in spareness and simplicity….. Love flowers best in openness and freedom.”

Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire A Season in the Wilderness
