Bryce Canyon National Park

Our last hurrah found us at Ruby’s historic campground just outside Bryce National Park for two nights. The park shuttle picks you up right at the campground and takes you into the park which is perfect. Bryce is a magical place and we loved hiking along the amphitheater and then walking back along the bike trail to ZsaZsa….beautiful. It’s hard to imagine this place is real with its stunning textures, colors, shadows and changing landscapes. What a treat to spend a bit more time in that land….

We wandered into the Bryce Canyon Lodge which is the only original lodge still standing from the days of the old Union Pacific Circle Tour which put Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon on the map! What a great trip that would have been back in the day…

And then we hit the road for home….It’s very surreal to be home but wonderful as well! We were greeted by a welcome committee set up by the kids and then they joined us for a very happy reunion dinner! So good to be back so close to them!

If you’ve followed along, you know we’ve seen some amazing places, clocked a lot of miles and have a zillion stories. The last and final blogpost is coming: BTN…..By The Numbers, which will give you a numerical view of what we’ve been up to over the last year! Come back in a bit to check it out….
