Revelstoke to Golden and Yoho National Park
The drives…. This drive was amazing! You begin to see the mountains rising and the road passing through huge, well built snow sheds and realize the engineering of bridges, tunnels, trainrail, etc..that went into creating this highway. We stopped at the top of the summit, Roger’s Pass, and got our Glacier and Revelstoke National Park…
Oregon coast
We’ve now camped at or visited Brookings, Bandon, Depoe Bay, Salem and Tillamook and have loved the scenery, rugged ocean capes and lighthouses, green forests and rural roads. The wind….not so much. While it’s beautiful, it’s been a bit chilly and windy but no rain, so we’ve been lucky. Brookings was a small fishing town…
